Come on board for ECCI X!!!

You can still contribute to the 10th European Conference on Creativity & Innovation (ECCI X) October 14-17 in Copenhagen ' but it's NOW we need your proposal'

Paper jam sessions: Sold out...

By deadline we had received 75 academic paper abstracts, and 59 have been selected for our 'Paper Jam Sessions', which are currently being planned. The academic presenters will soon get a notification of the requirements for the final papers, which have their deadline by September 1st.

A variety of contributions received so far - but we are still open for more...

As the purpose of every ECCI conference is to facilitate co-operation and cross-fertilization between academics, business practitioners and educators in the field of creativity & innovation, the conference will also comprise non-academic sessions, in which the participants share experiences and develop knowledge across disciplines.

So far we have received 67 proposals for such sessions, and we are in the middle of reviewing these. We hereby encourage you to catch up, if you have an idea, but haven't yet submitted. We consider the proposals as they come, but you should submit NOW. - August 6th we make the final closure.

We call for case presentations, toolbox demonstrations, problems for our 'Crack the Nut' workshops and weird stuff. please read about the categories at the website www.eccix.org and download the submission form.

Special request for hosts for the Creative Reflection Zones!

Besides the categories mentioned above, we have a special request for hosts for our so-called Creative Reflection Zones, which are learning groups that meet 1 hour every afternoon throughout the conference.

The main purpose of the Zones is to help the participants digest the conference experience and relate it to their own practice or future: What have the conference participants heard, seen and noticed along the way, and in what way can this be understood, related to, or used by themselves and their home organisations? In other words you, as a host, should help the participants become aware of what they are chewing on and if they feel like spitting or sinking J.

The group participants will challenge each other, provide new perspectives and learn new pieces of information as they talk to one another, but your role as a host is to design and facilitate a process where this can be done. All attendees will be placed in such a group, so we need 33 hosts in total. If it's something for you, please download the contribution form from the website and submit as soon as possible. And please pass this request on to your network!

And now the "jazzy" part...

Monday, October 15th, we have booked Copenhagen Jazz House for a social evening. So far, the only thing we have scheduled is the big band 'The Innovators', plus 'the stage is yours'. I'm sure a lot of you could come up with great ideas for how to make this evening both cosy and unforgettable. Please send me your ideas!

Reserve your seat now, if you haven't registered!

We have recalculated the facilities at our conference venue and decided to set a maximum of 400 participants. This means that when you get on with your registration, it might be too late! So if you belong to the group who surely would not miss this event, we urge you to register as soon as possible.
