Irresistibly innovative…

The program for ECCI X is ready and blooming with creative activity!

The 10th European Conference on Creativity & Innovation unfolds a multicoloured potential of energy

130 sessions form a maelstrom of creativity and innovation

We have now completed the puzzle of placing 47 academic papers, 71 practical workshops and 12 keynote presentations and are ready to launch the detailed version of the ECCI X program. Check out the overall program overview, as well as the program of the parallel sessions, both in detail and overview  (NB: Changes might still occur!). If you take a look at the program, I’m sure you will admit that it’s an impressive multiplicity of knowledge goodies. But is the picture hereby complete? Is nothing really missing? – Oh yes. There might be one important element missing: YOU! – in case you have not signed up yet…

A different kind of conference

In a traditional conference setting you have presenters and audiences. The presenters play the active role, the audience is receiving. The ECCI conferences are different; everybody is encouraged to contribute to the creation of the event. A very large part of the participants of ECCI X will have a dedicated role as presenters, Reflection Zones hosts, runners, sponsors, hosts of the ‘Meet the Danes’ event etc.

But even if you do not have an assigned role, we hope you take an active part in the social and professional encountering of the conference. Until now, the co-creation process of ECCI X has been an exiting journey, but it should not end by the opening of the conference.

In fact, we urge you to participate in the same voluntary active spirit as we co-created the event! You can of course join us as an ‘ordinary’ conference visitor, entering as a customer in this supermarket of presentations and workshops, which indeed will enable you to feel the pulse of Creativity and Innovation. And you should in any case take advantage of the numerous opportunities for networking, which often are as important a driver for attending a conference as the professional update itself.

However, we encourage you to take it one step further and dress yourself up in the co-creator attitude. You get the conference experience you create yourself!

A special opportunity for playing an active role…

Monday, October 15th, we have booked Copenhagen Jazz House for a social evening. Only two things are scheduled (besides pizza and beer!): The 17 person big band ‘The Innovators’, plus ‘the stage is yours’. – Three persons have volunteered: Gordon Nicholson on jazz piano, Mary Ann Smorra on vocals and Patrick Colemont as ‘inno-waiter’. I’m sure a lot of you can come up with great ideas for how to make this evening both cosy and unforgettable. Please forward your ideas to Arne Stjernholm Madsen, chairman of the planning committee: arne@eccix.org

The team behind

The ECCI conferences are initiated by the European Association for Creativity & Innovation (EACI). ECCI X is arranged by the Danish Initiative for Creativity & Innovation (IKI), Copenhagen Business School, Zentropa WorkZ and the Danish Design Centre.
